The Musky Marauders was originally founded in 1987 by four intrepid individuals who wanted to pursue the sport of Musky Fishing in earnest. They included the three Ferguson brothers (see photo) and a long time friend. They were assigned call names associated with Musky Fishing including: JERK BAIT JOHN, MARABOU MIKE, TEK NEEK TOM, (FERGUSON BROTHERS) and STALKER STEVE. These four men put forth significant effort and influence over time to create and shape the infamous MUSKY MARAUDERS. After 20 years of hard fishing and great Northwoods adventures the club has grown to over 50 active members. The growing pains soon became evident.

Over the course of time club rules, financial interests, communications, club priorities, fishing skills, behavior, liabilities, and intensity of club members varied from a once a year SPRING HUNT and get together to a LIFESTYLE, Multiple Hunts, and Pro Fishing and Guiding Careers.

As a result of these differences on issues in 2007, the Club was divided into two separate and distinct Musky Marauder legal entities. This enables a more effective means to satisfy the growing membership and level the playing field.

This website www.MUSKYMARAUDERSLLC.COM is dedicated specifically to its growing membership and those 30 Musky Marauders associated with this legal entity and Co-founder and Charter member Jerk Bait John Ferguson.

They utilize exclusively the facilities of (see photo)Lost Loon Lodge LLC located in Phelps, Wisconsin as a base camp for Wisconsin hunts. They also travel throughout the country and the world on special "exotic species" expeditions in pursuit of worthy prey, especially "fish with teeth!"
